When I had mines, at one point of time, I worked out religiously. I noticed that once I got rid of it, it became harder to loose weight. maryluvs_sad.gif Although I live in a nice, safe neighborhood, I'm scared of dogs, so I'm not willing to go walking.

I really need another treadmill. maryluvs_bye2.gif

THIS IS THE SAME REASON I GO TO THE GYM AND USE IT

BECAUSE IF I HAD IT HOME IT WOULD COLLECT DUST

Okay guys, after months and months of searching, and waiting until one went on sale. I FINALLY got a motorized treadmill. It's being assembled as I type. I plan on getting my workout on starting tomorrow. maryluvs_thumbup.gif

There was a sale at K-Mart and I was able to get mines for $199.00. $217.00 with warrenty and tax.

You can get a manual one pretty cheap - less that $125.00 but one with a motor usually runs $275.00+.

The one I got I purchased on sale. It has a motor, three level incline positioning, goes up to 10 mph, tracks speed, distance, length of time used, and calories burned. You don't have to pay $1K for a decent treadmill. You can find one around $300-$500 that will give you the same workout as one that cost $1K.

I had one, and sold it.

When ever I got on it, and bust a few sweats I got off.

I prefer getting my ass outside now and walking, because if I walk a certain distance, I got to get my ass back to the house lol.

So where do you live? Coz you dont have to run, just take a walk. One hour of fast walk and you are OK. You can do 6 or 7 kilometers in one hour, if you are walking fast. At least I can. maryluvs_huhh.gif

I know alot of ppl that do not feel comfortable walking in their neighborhoods. Even in some of the nice areas. I knew this one woman that was telling me that she was walking early one morning and someone started chasing her with their car. She ran up in a school bus that was picking up kids scared for her life. Then the car past on by and left her alone.

Im not scared tho. Only thing that un-nerves me is getting hit by a car by accident.
