Haruki Murakami is a Japanese writer and translator. His works of fiction and non-fiction have garnered him critical acclaim, and he is the sixth recipient of the Franz Kafka Prize for his novel Kafka on the Shore. He is considered an important figure in postmodern literature, and The Guardian praised him as one of the "world's greatest living novelists."

His books are really great. Get into him yall.
I just read "Norwegian Wood" and "Sputnik Sweetheart" and loved them. maryluvs_thumbup.gif

I read "The Wind-Up Bird Chronical" and I swear it was the most bizzare book I have ever read. It was long as hell but entertaining in a WTF!?!?! kind of way. It's one of those books that I didn't like until a few months after I read it.

I also read "Norwegian Wood" but found it kinda boring compared to "The Wind- Up Bird Chronical"

That is one book that didn't hit me, until a few weeks after reading it. ohmy.gif
I slowly became a Murakami fan.

PS: Norwegian Wood is being made into a movie.
