|Anyone delved into a weight loss/diet regime this year already?|

I have because I have gotten big.
So far, I have cut out junk food and replaced it with healthier snacks. I am currently working on cutting out fast food, which is hard for me because my schedule don't allow me to do much cooking. Matter of fact, I'm sitting her counting the minutes until I get off because I'm headed to Quiznos for that $5 sammie and small chop salad.
I started cutting back right before Thanksgiving. So far, I've lost 10lbs!

| Great job on the weight loss Juice! Have you thought about preparing small healthy snacks to hold you throughout the day? Or preparing your meals on the weekend to be ready for the week?
Better get back on it Jay. Summer will be here before we know it.
I recently joined the Y. Went to work out Tuesday. Going in tomorrow, get in about an hour of workout time.
As far as eating....I'm checking out this Special K Diet, eating a bowl for breakfast, and one for lunch. In between snacks vary from a cup of yogurt, Cinnamon bagel with lite cream cheese, or half a cup of fruit cocktail. Drinking TONS of water, and taking my butt to bed on time. It's been working so far. Hopefully I can keep it up!

Yes, I make sure I pack snacks for work. I used to buy potato chips, candy, cupcakes, etc to snack on at work, now I buy more fruits and veggies.
I've gone without candy for so long, I no longer crave it. I recently stumbled upon the Quaker Mini Delights rice cakes. They are sooooo good!
Also, I've been trying to cook more at home. I try to cook enough for leftovers for a few days.
Looks like you're on the right track yourself. It seems like alot of people are getting healthy for 2010!

|I've gotten big again..joined a gym in Feb. Don't feel like doing the starvation diets I'm prone to do over the years but I've cut back trying to get to the gym at least 3 times a week gotta be a size 10 before June my daughter's wedding... but on the upside I have lost 5 lbs...only 35 more to go this is a situation that needs serious prayer..|
